Batalla de ilustradores // Illustrators battle
Inspirado en DEER (Dibujantes en el ring) organizado por la ADA (Asociación de dibujantes Argentinos, sede Mendoza). La Batalla de ilustradores fue un evento realizado por el colectivo de ilustradores "Calamar", dentro del programa "Verano Cultural" organizado por el Ministerio de Turismo y Cultura del Gobierno de San Juan.

Inspired by DEER (Dibujantes en el ring) organized by the ADA (Association of Argentine Illustrators, Mendoza headquarters) Illustrators Battle was an event organized by the collective of illustrators "Calamar", as part of the "Verano Cultural" program organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Government of San Juan.
Este trabajo fue realizado en conjunto con Lautaro Borges quien diseñó el letter, las graficas y las adaptaciones
para web y redes sociales. Nos basamos en la estética de Street Fighter II y Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of super heroes, utilizando referencias directas. Utilice el stage "Dr. Wily 's military base". de Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of super heroes. La base militar del Dr. Wily está inspirada en las muchas bases secretas utilizadas por el Dr. Wily en la serie Mega Man. Este se considera el escenario de casa de Mega Man and Roll. Modifique algunos elementos y agregue algunos nuevos que aludían al evento en si, coloque grafiti y tags de artistas reales provenientes de la provincia de San Juan, Mendoza, Córdoba y Buenos Aires.

This work was carried out in conjunction with Lautaro Borges who designed the letter, the graphics and the adaptations for the web and social medias. We drew on the aesthetics of Street Fighter II and Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of super heroes, using direct references. Use the stage "Dr. Wily's military base". from Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of super heroes. Dr. Wily's military base is inspired by the many secret bases used by Dr. Wily in the Mega Man series. This is considered the home setting of Mega Man and Roll. Modify some elements and add some new ones that allude to the event itself, add some graffiti and tags of real artists from the province of San Juan, Mendoza, Cordoba and Buenos Aires.

La batalla consiste en 3 rounds eliminatorios donde participan 16 ilustradores, a los cuales se les dan 3 palabras al azar que ambos deben ilustrar de manera creativa en 1 minuto. Consta de un jurado compuesto de 3 personas invitadas más el conductor/réferi, el ilustrador Nicolás Ávila (parodiado en la ilustración). Además, hubo presentaciones en vivo de músicos, djs de chiptune, grafitis y letter tags en vivo e incluso serigrafias de calcos en vivo.

The battle consists of 3 knockout rounds where 16 illustrators participate, who are given 3 random words that both must creatively illustrate in 1 minute. It consists of a jury made up of 3 invited people plus the presenter of the event/referee Nicolás Ávila, parodied in the illustration. There were live performances by musicians, chiptune djs, live graffiti and letter tags and even live stickers serigraphs.
